Dr. Wilson is the founder of the Virginia Eye Clinic and member of the American and Virginia Optometric Associations. Dr. Wilson received his undergraduate degree from Eastern College in 1986 and his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1991. In addition to receiving training in contact lens care, treatment of dry eye and low vision, Dr. Wilson also had the remarkable opportunity to participate in an externship program at the Omni Eye Center in Atlanta, GA in 1990. Where he gained valuable experience with the treatment and management of eye disease, with a specific interest in glaucoma. Dr. Wilson is happily married to his wife, Melinda and currently resides in Forest, Virginia with their three children. Dr. Wilson has been devotedly serving the Lynchburg community for over 20 years.

In 1997 Dr. Anderson joined the Virginia Eye clinic and excels in providing care for all ages. She is known for her work with pediatric patients. Dr. Anderson received her undergraduate degree from Lynchburg College and her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Doctor Anderson also serves as a board member with Humbly I Serve Ministries and the HIS Vision Project.

Melinda has been a certified and licensed optician since 1998. While she has transitioned into a more administrative role, she still enjoys working with our patients.  Melinda has traveled all over the world to bring world-class styles and services to the Virginia Eye Clinic optical. Primarily Melinda enjoys her time with her three children, husband, and two dogs.
